What's new

1280 zone NOW!

I don't think does anything to hurt Kanter. I bet Kanter said the same thing to the Jazz brass, and I bet the Jazz brass agreed with him. Now, if you are Utah, use that against Kanter. You know he will work hard, tell him what you want, and what you expect. Tell him you expect him to be able to start right away next year, and you expect him to be able to stretch the defense so he and Favors will be more effective together.

Locke followed up Kanter's comments with some seriously mean questions. He might have always planned on being a little tough on Kanter, but the timing and the tone of them made it seem like Locke was trying to put Kanter in his place. Does Locke really think that's his job? Then he went on to insinuate that he had even more criticisms--harsher ones even--but he was going to spare Kanter in order not to make him mad.

If I was Kanter I'd be pissed. Sometimes I appreciate Locke for his energy and enthusiasm, but he can be such a weasel.

What? an NBA player thinking he didn't get enough minutes...shocking. There isn't an NBA player alive who didn't think he deserved more minutes.

But he wasn't complaining about his own minutes, he was complaining about his teammates minutes. That's where this is more rare and biting.

Kanter should know better than that. The Jazz erased their bench as part of the tank strategy and needed a couple guys off the bench to cover for it. They were also trying to boost Marvin's and R Jeff's trade value.

boost their trade value after the trade deadline?

DL says he told Enes how proud and glad he is that he is a member of this organization. Again.

Vermin, etc. I told you ****ers.

The FO knew and they were very open about this being a rebuilding season. Kanter is absolutely right about the young guys not getting enough playing time. Gobert should have gotten 15-20 minutes a night, Kanter and Burks 30+. Especially after the all-star break, when it was fairly obvious we wouldn't make the playoffs. It took Ty 78 games to start the core 5. 78 games! And why, being such a young team who struggles to shoot consistently, we didn't run more is just something I will never understand.

Kanter played way too much.

I'd rather have watched Gobert-Favors, Favors-Marvin, Gobert-Marvin. At least those three try to defend.

Buh-bye Kwame Kanter.

Trade Kanter for a yes man! Hurry! Maybe we can rid ourselves of this malcontent for someone's 2nd rounder. Get on it, Dennis.
