14th Tank Platoon

If DL does not put is in a position to lose out nearly the rest of the season, the Jazz will be stuck in lottery hell for a long time. Next years draft looks pretty damn weak, which means that will be the year we get the number one pick. The jazz can't last too many years with half full arenas. They have at most 5 years to put us back in the playoffs until the millers are forced to sell the team.

The Jazz aren't anywhere near the bottom of ticket sales. There are at least 10 other teams who would sell before the Millers.

Not that weak. Okafor, Towns, Johnson is a better top 3 than anything from 2008-2013.

Yeah, thats kind of my point.

They knew they were going to be without Peyton Manning and intentionally went with a roster that included no NFL calibre QB's. That's tanking from an organizational level, and I think that is totally acceptable.

BTW, the Colts started the season 0-13 that year, then when they were already assured the #1 pick they won 2 games in a row.

Everyone knew what they were doing and it was the right thing for them to do.

So maybe Lindsey should have traded Favors, Hayward and Kanter for D-League players before the season so the Jazz could properly tank.

A better comparison is that we should have fired Corbin and traded the 2 vets at the start of the season. I don't know why we have Hayward on this roster if he declined our offer. We all know some stupid team will offer him more than our original offer. If we aren't going to match why not attempt to move him right now so we can get something out of him?

Burks is already a better SG than Hayward. If we can tank good enough we can replace Hayward's "loss" with Wiggins or Jabari.

Why are Marvin and RJ still starting?

It seems like to me as if DL and Ty Corbin have 2 completely different agendas.

I'd like to know about Corporate sponsorship. Where do the jazz rank? TV viewing numbers are probably pretty good but what kind of revenue does that generate?
