2011 draft.....

Tomic playing C in the NBA? You want to see if Archie Moses can be had for the rookie minimum to play small forward too?

Sure Ante Tomic can play C in the NBA. He's 7'2" 240 lbs. and a skilled low post scorer. I see a lot of Roy Hibbert in him with a touch of Pau Gasol.

I see a lot more of Fess than Hibbert.

A soft stiff euro who can't even dominate fellow euros.

Somehow Rasheed Wallace found Benjamin Button, became young again, only to shorten himself by a few inches.

Kanter is worth a look. He's only 18 and 6'10". What if he's still growing?

Blake Griffin blew out a knee too. Look at him now. The younger the player, the greater chance of a full recovery.

If the Jazz are convinced they can get Ante Tomic over here to play C, they'll probably look at SF at #6. Jan Vesely or Perry Jones.

Huge difference between a freak accident with a knee cap and an ACL.

The long history of stiff bigmen with bad wheels is almost unbearable. Pass on tissues I mean euros I mean Kanter.

Americans win championships. Euros win competitions that don't matter. The most ring rich euro couldn't even get out of the first round with Kobe bailing his *** out. And even then, Gasol is their 4th most important player. Kobe, Bynum, Odom, and Gasol. Without Bynum, an American, the Lakers would struggle to even get out of the 2nd round.

Who do you people like between Derrick Williams and Harrison Barnes?

I think Barnes will be a better pro because he is a natural SF. He can shoot, defend and play on the perimeter from day one. Derrick Williams is a little too small to play PF full-time as a starter. So he will have to become a better perimeter player.

Great question YB85 I have asked the same question to myself. I lean towards barnes just because he is a natural 3 but Williams is just what you need coming off the bench an energy that can play multiple positions. Barnes is better suited to start. That is the reason I lean a little towards barnes.
