Numberica, I agree with you. CJ is who he is. I am sure other fans overvalue their players but I laugh sometimes how some Jazz fans never want to trade a specific player (because he has potential) but if that player leaves the Jazz he immediately sucks. CJ was a high second round pick and what he has shown is he is a late first round pick at best. I wouldn't be surprised if he was part of a trade package or traded for a first or high second round pick. I was a fan of CJ but I just can't be patient anymore. The kid has physical tools but mentally he is a fragile person.
 
David Thorpe talks about Biyombo

I was checking out draft rumors and found this little tidbit regarding Biyombo from David Thrope.

What Biyombo brings to the game right now is exactly what you'd expect when you first see him. He has amazingly long arms, and he uses them as often as he can. That part is easy to see. But I like his nimbleness in defending ball screens and closing out shooters. Other than a few occasions when he stumbles, Biyombo has a smart and mature approach to the way he plays defense. He anticipates well and is not one of those shot-blockers who never wants to leave the paint. He has an advanced understanding of team defense, clearly coming from his experiences playing at such a high level. It would be fair to assume that his team in Spain would go undefeated in any major college conference in America, and that should give you some indication of the talent level there.

I wonder if his strong defensive motor would permeate thru the team. His mere presence might make everyone better on that side of the ball.

I read the entire Insider article. Thorpe absolutely loves Biyombo. He thinks Biyombo alone will make a team a top 10 defense in the league. If he is as good of a help defender as Thorpe seems to think, it would give the rest of the team to tighter on the ball and wings. If the Jazz take Knight at 3, I hope Biyombo is there at 12.
 
i never said that they will have 3 rookies just draft 3 players. I see them possiable taking a flyer on a Euro and keeping them overseas or getting a second rounder and seeing if they can earn a spot on the roster.
 
I think everyone agrees that Biyombo has absolutely no offensive skills. His free throw form makes Shaq's form look like Jerry West. The dude may have arms down to the floor, but where is he going to play? He can't hold Big Al's jock.
 
I am not sold on taking Biyombo at 3 yet but I would definitely love him at 12. I don't think he gets pass Detroit. My biggest problem with Biyombo is, can he develop some offensive game. What I saw of him I think he has some athletcism to get by guys and he seemed to have good hands. Perhaps if he could develop a jump hook or a jump shot then I would be more excited about him.

I like him a lot but I just don't know if I would take him at 3.
 
Now a few mocks are claiming Kanter might go 1, Williams 2, Irving 3...

This draft is up in the air - should be fun...

I think it depends on how you define offensive game. Does Tyson Chandler have an offensive game? I think I am good if he can crash the offensive boards and got put-back dunks, which he seems to be capable of. But I still don't take him at 3. 12 is perfect.
