2018-2019 Western Conference Predictions

Yeah I still wouldn't count them out with Pops running the show. He is a wizard. I think he will find a way to get the team into the playoffs. If they do miss my bet is they just barely do, like a 9th seed or something and missing by a game or 2. I don't see them falling all the way to 12th or 13th as some have posted.

I have some reservation about writing them off but they are so thin at PG and wing. In addition to Murray they also lost White for 6-8 weeks. I think they rode the idea that Kawhi would come back and it gave them hope. I think Manu is a big loss in the locker room and really helped their second unit. Kyle Anderson helped fill in some of the gaps last year with his versatility.

I think this is the year they miss the playoffs. Barring a trade that nets them some help on the wing or with creating offense.

Well, I suppose they could trade Gasol for Butler. That would at least allow Thibodeau to have the same quantity of former-Bulls options.

Noah was bought out and 5 seconds later there was a tweet about how the Wolves didn't have interest. Maybe Taylor told him no more Bulls.

San Antonio has some key injuries I'm not sure you guys are aware of

Right its stacking injuries on an already weak position where they had lost depth... Like if we lost Rubio and Exum and didn't have Neto. I think Bryn Forbes is their starting PG right now.

I think so many counting San Antonio out is short-sighted. They were solidly in the mix last year with NO ONE in Kawhi's spot. This year they have solidly filled that spot. I think they will be in the playoff hunt for sure. No way they drop that far when they realistically added a good player and got better as a team.

Shhhhhh... keep it a secret ;)
