God damn this **** is frightening on so many levels
If the Jazz make this move we are locked into mediocrity for the next three years..IF the team stays healthy. If not its even worse. If Conley gets hurt. Its going to be Mitchell, Gobert, and Ingles dragging D league corpses around for a while.
If we do this and give up picks we are really screwed. It will set us back a while.
If DL does this, it just proves he isn't competent and we are really screwed. Because you know the Milllers will ride it out with him for 30 years probably. Because loyalty.
Im officially off the DL bandwagon if he makes a deal for Conley.
Here is to praying Detroit gets it done.

They're clearing space to max Jabari Parker.
Mitchell/Conley have longer combined wingspan.

I'm usually pretty hard on DL for not being aggressive. If he and the FO decide to go get Conley, I'm going to trust the move.
Conley is a big improvement on Rubio. If he played for an East team or a more exciting market, he would have already been a multiple all star. Rubio, Hill and guys like that have never been in the same echelon. Conley, even older and overpaid, really does make us better where we need it most.
But I think Detroit will end up getting him. He is such a perfect fit with what they need as a franchise right now. Conley with Blake, Drummond and Kennard could be very good in the east.

So rumors have it that NOLA wants more picks and to dump Solomon Hill in order to make this deal with LA. I know it might be a pipe dream, but what if we found a way to be the 3rd team in this whole scenario.
If we took back Hill AND sent back multiple 1st rounders, is there any chance we could get Kuzma? Something like...
LA gets AD
NOLA gets Favors, Lonzo, Ingram, Zubac, Beasley, 1st from LA, 2 1sts from Utah
Jazz get Kuzma, Hill and somebody like Wagner
I know it's a stretch, but seems to cover much of what NOLA still wants from their trade with LA.
