I'd still do the deal though if I were Memphis, ... Oubre is quite a bit better than both Brooks.

If Memphis got Oubre for Marshon Brooks, that would have been the steal of a lifetime. They had to know Phoenix meant Dillon.

Yes, they can. This trade made 0 sense for anyone but Memphis but for whatever strange reason they backed out.

Not only did Jabari not crack the rotation in Chicago, he was removed. Who was the last player released by a team that ended up being an all-star that was not a planned move? I've seen better players do this kind of thing as part of the plan to sign someone else then be picked back up, but I can't think of a single player released like this who turned into anything.

Just say no to Jabari.


The only way we should consider signing Parker would be picking him up off waivers for cheap. Maybe a straight swap with Exum. Otherwise giving up any assets at all for him is beyond foolish.

chauncey billups went through a couple of teams before he became an all-star. I don't have the energy to see if he was waived or just traded.
