I'm seeing second hand mentions of Windhorst reporting Conley informed Memphis he would prefer not to come to Utah... Looking to substantiate that, but if true it's kind of a bummer.

I think it's pretty typical to have hesitations about moving to Utah, especially if you're a POC, if you aren't familiar with SLC. There's not exactly a reputation for cultural diversity. I honestly wouldn't be overly concerned about it, especially since we have no idea how forceful of a request he made. It could have literally been something along the lines of: "ehhh, I'm not so sure about Utah."

I also think it could be another team leaking it....if you were Portland, OKC, or HOU would you say something like this thinking that is believable and hopefully could derail a conference rival getting stronger?
