Karl Malone was not only marginally better, but Malone destroyed both Duncan and Robinson in the playoffs. .
Malone beat them once in the playoffs. Duncan’s rookie season.

Admiral was a rock star before Duncan, but did not have the supporting cast.Yeah once Robinson got Duncan he got somewhere. Before that the best thing he did for the franchise was go down for an "injury" that netted them....Duncan!
Regular season
Spurs with Robinson 30 wins
Versus Jazz with Malone 24 wins.
Routinely destroyed......
Better than the jazz. He had a pretty good one actually. Maybe not championship level but it was decent.Admiral was a rock star before Duncan, but did not have the supporting cast.
Perfectly clean. Malone just tried to go up with the ball. Absolutely no different than harden and his swing under flop thing he does. Robinson was just not smart enough to get out da way.God damn Karl was a dirty mofo lol
Thank you. Now turn in your jazz fan card and walk away with your tail between your legs and walk away for this idiocy.Ok maybe Malone+rudy are a bit better than Paul and David but start also to focus on the rest of our teams:1-3 + benches...I'm sure Log players cannot overcome my dudes in this roles!
Seems that we have two different points of view about this players...Thank you. Now turn in your jazz fan card and walk away with your tail between your legs and walk away for this idiocy.
If J.Worthy is undersized (I don't think so, but no problem) what about Johnson?Worthy is undersized for a PF, normally a SF.
Kidd is underrated: 2nd in steals and assists all-time and also a great defender. Then irving>Lowry ok but not that much. And agree with you Hondo can play evrywhere but anyway as PG he doesn't give his best.Kidd and Lowry are solid, but just solid.
Sorry but Kidd it's 10th in total 3-point field goals made. And Love isn't a bad 3-point shooter at allMullin and Lowry are really his only true 3-pt threats
C
Gobert/Embiid/Malone
Vs
Robinson/Gasol/Love
There is no way Robinson can take on this 3-headed beast, and that is what it will amount to. Gasol cannot be both the starting 4 and the primary backup 5. That leaves Love, who is not a plus defender, especially against this group. Imagine Love subbing in on Malone. Or Embiid for that matter. I can also switch it up and move Malone to C, where he logged plenty of minutes, and go small and strong, or run out Embiid and Gobert together. Not a tough decision here, just too much for the Admiral to handle basically on his own.
Advantage: Gobert/Embiid/Malone ++
So just add up the plusses:
Troat: +++++ (5+)
Log” +++++++ (7+)
What are you talking about? Malone might do spot minutes at the 5 depending on matchups. Still my entire front court slams his. No comparison. Stop trying to fit the narrative to your vote and accept the fact that you need to change your vote.Not too bad of a write up comparison except for this part. Malone is playing the 4. He isnt getting minutes at Center, if he is your center than your PF position is really weak. Nice try though trying to put him in two places to give you an advantage. Robinson is light years ahead of Gobert. As much as I like Gobert this is a huge advantage for Troat. Joel Embiid has potential but he hasnt done much yet. He hasnt even played more than 64 games in a year plus he playoffs have been limited. Prime Love is much better plus can actually shoot a 3. That gives him ++ at that position.

Troat's bigs are charmin-soft.
Gobert approaches useless offensively in a context where there isn’t spacing.I think that’s a bit unfair to Gasol. He was the second best player by far on a team that won two titles. Robinson was a key contributor on one. They were solid both ways.
Gobert might be efficient but he’s sort of a nonfactor on offense imo especially against someone like Robinson who was long and fairly bouncy. Malone, while physically muscular, was pretty soft when it mattered most.
To be fair Malone carried more than his fair share of the load. With this team he will have more freedom. He'll perform better.I think that’s a bit unfair to Gasol. He was the second best player by far on a team that won two titles. Robinson was a key contributor on one. They were solid both ways.

Hence my floor spacers. And in the first unit the defense will be too focused in on the other 4 threats that all require double teams. Gobert will get more then his share of dunks. Then pair him with embiid for a while. No problem.Gobert approaches useless offensively in a context where there isn’t spacing.
