I just looked it up, it looks like there have only been 2 seasons since Stockton retired that someone (Chris Paul in both cases) had over 213 steals in a season, which is what you'd need to hit 2.6 steals/game over 82 games.

Question for y’all.

Why is it the case that you still haven’t clarified the style of play that teams will be judged against? For example, will teams be judged by modern space-and-pace dynamics? Or will the old offsides rules apply? This has been the central weakness in these all-time drafts from the very first iteration.

I’ve been wondering myself. But it would be difficult to state a rule that does justice to the situation. I can mainly enjoy envisioning current rules in place. So yeah, I’m biased in that regard. But the rules are unstated to me, so maybe I’m misreading the situation completely.
