I’m sure they would have if they could have. Detroit already took on Ariza’s contract today and need to preserve space for Wood (they don’t have his full bird rights), so my guess is they wouldn’t have done the deal for Davis.

I think it's clear we're valuing defense/toughness and are content with the offense. This makes me more confident that we will go after Kris Dunn hard in free agency. Just a hunch
