I’m sure we could negotiate the protections on the pick with Memphis if we really wanted to trade a future first.
 
We aren’t contenders... we aren’t going to get out of the first round... our record against good teams is bad. Please don’t kid yourselves.
 
Like does someone here actually think it would be foolish to trade NWG? He’s 25.5 years old and looked awful when we’ve seen him. What’s the likelihood he’s ever going to develop into more than a #3 point guard?

Negotiation is required, yes. Like DL had spent months to "negotiate" a deal with Memphis over Conley and all he produced out of that with a vast overpayment. If anything, we were in the position to make demands since mem was more desperate to offload Conley to pave ways for Ja. Hawks already showed us that through some skilled "negotiation", one first rounder is all its required to land you a top ten player in his position and DL had to spent 3

We reserve the right to do exactly that, and we will. We also reserve the right to piss and moan like a bunch of babies with pants full of **** and no ***** to suck on whenever we damn well please. That's core to being a fan. Bitch when things go the tiniest bit tough, throw "I-told-you-so"s around when things go well. We live and die by the team and right now we are mostly dying. So kindly STFU and GTFO
 
We've got the rest of the season to see how well our current core can mesh, and to lose in the playoffs because of our bench. If the starting five continues to be great, then we'll have the ammo necessary in the offseason to build a bench. If not, then we'll have Conley on an expiring in a weak FA class. We're clearly not contending this year, but let's see if this group can figure it out.
 
So the Warriors traded for D. Lo in 2019 for a 1st round pick and 8 months later get Wiggins, a first, and a second for him. lmao

"Difference maker", not a helper. And yes, Udoh wouldn't have helped behind Gobert. Backup C is not the reason that we lost 5 straight. Our pathetic perimeter D was. Like those Conley supporter said, players like Ed would not all of a sudden become trash in such a short span for no reason. Ed would not fall off the cliff defensively if we weren't relying on our center so heavily to bail us out for every perimeter blowbys this season.
