what’s happened since 2016? We’ve seen 4 years of winning special elections, flipping state legislators, and taking over the House with the senate and White House soon to follow.
we really need to stop pretending that trump is made of Teflon. He’s going to lose and he’s bringing his entire party down with him. Just as he’s done for 4 years.

Democratic Party Leadership is a bunch of losers for sure.
If there is a way to lose they will find it. The Republicans machine is so much more disciplined. Defunding police is the dumbest slogan ever. They could be talking about improving, restructuring, enhancing training, redeploying non police activities, etc. And I understand that defunding does not mean what it sounds like, but therein lies the problem. ****** marketing.
I was flabbergasted when HRC tried to run up the score in Arizona instead of shooting up the Midwest, which even I could see, and I’m a total political amateur.
They’ll eff 2020 up somehow.
Biden is running a decent campaign so far, with the exception of being late to explicitly condemn violrnce and looting.
So I do I hope I’m wrong.

Ohio will likely Remain with trump and Florida is 50/50 So biden needs to flip wi, mi, and pa.
Wi and mi look strong but pa is shaky. If trump pulls off pa, he likely stays in power.

Even Rasmussen which skews for Trump only has PA as a tie. Overall it’s + 4.2 Biden. That’s shaky?
Biden is up 5 pts in Arizona and Trump has suspended ads there for the next few weeks. Texas is within the margin of error so that’ll force Trump to spend money in a state that should be safe. Florida is interesting as many former felons will be eligible to vote and trump has been attacking mail in voting (which has historically been an advantage for republicans in Florida).
The economy isn’t going to get better this fall as the pandemic gets worse. More people will lose their homes and will blame Trump. Trump will continue to do stupid things and devastating books/leaks from people like Michael Cohen and military leaders who served in his cabinet won’t stop. I really don’t see why Biden won’t maintain his lead or even expand it between now and Election Day.

If I can find a video, I’ll post it. It was a Trump flag. I saw a few at a beach near me the other day. There is a clip that shows the flag on the boat before the boat was swamped. Pretty sure it was the same boat. The guy in the photo is heading away from that boat. It’s true he could be heading for another boat, I don’t know.
I may have trouble finding the tweet that included a video, but the blue flag to the far left, and leaning way left in this photo, came off the boat, just at that moment. It’s in the process of being ripped off by the wave. I thought it was this flag that the guy was carrying.
I have to rate it unconfirmed, as far as the guy’s intentions. It is one of the blue Trump flags, but maybe it was his flag. I also don’t know where he was going, or what he was doing, based on that one photo of him.

It is very shocking and hard to get used to hearing that word all the time. It's a also strange to me that isn't what the word is. It's supposed to sound like Nah Gu. The word is supposed to be that. But somehow it changed to also be the equivalent of um as well. But the word changed. I'm curious why it changed. I use the original way of saying it because I don't like the other word and don't want to get used to saying it, haha.

Why does the party deserve criticism?
Perhaps the special interests and parties are two separate issues? Parties lack power because special interest groups can form super PACs and out fundraise the party.
I think if we want stronger political parties who can vet out crazy candidates, we need to strengthen parties and push hard for campaign finance reform. You’ll probably need to overturn citizens united, which means you’ll need control of the executive for enough time to change the makeup of the judiciary.
The article says that, according to the Chinese students in the class, the professor is mispronouncing the word and making it more like the American insult. Perhaps not. Professors rarely get railroaded.
