First off, that's pretty extreme. Second neither party did anything while given the opportunity. In your opinion why didn't Obama not get this stopped? 2012 or not this entire thing was under his watch.

He, like most of the rest of us figured Hillary would win and the whole mess could be sorted out after the election. That was a blunder for sure, and he should have been more proactive in fighting against it. But it's hard to say what the consequences of that would have been.
