No I dont. I make enough money. I dont need it. I do know how economics work, and that check is going to cause more problems than it helps.
I think it is a good idea way down the road once robots take over, and the robots fix the robots, but we are still a long ways from that.
Throwing money at incompetence is a bad investment. Its why socialism will never work. Give a heroin addict 1000 dollars a month and guarantee they are still homeless heroin addicts, and it will probably will just speed up their demise. I know this from personal experience. I have a homeless heroine addicted sister. Ive literally offered to pay for everything to help fix her life. The only condition was getting sober. She couldnt do it.
This isnt just about the homeless and heroin addicts either. Lazy people in general will still be lazy. They will be less motivated to do anything. Which in turn just means more of a burden on productive people. Which ruins your society.
Also inflation. So whats the point?
I make enough money so why should I give two ****s about those who don’t. Not everyone that’s struggling is a lazy ***. And sorry about your sister, sounds like a very unpleasant situation.
