Wow, how to misrepresent! I watched the video. Biden said when police arrive in Humvees(Biden is not in favor of militarization of police departments), “they become the enemy”, clearly referring to the citizenry, not the police. He was saying arriving in military equipment is akin to treating our citizens as “the enemy”. He was not saying “the police are the enemy”. The person who tweeted that clearly twisted the context. Might not have been deliberate, might just be a misreading on her part, but that’s misrepresentation nonetheless.

It was a misrepresentation, but not exactly in the manner I assumed.

Don't be worried
He wont operate as a king. The policies that he wants will have to go through the proper channels and would have to be well thought out.
Free tuition and student loan elimination would be unlikely to pass through Congress even he wanted them too. If they did pass then that would mean there was a well thought out plan in place to make it work and in that case out would be a good thing.

What’s wrong with some form of free tuition and/or student loan forgiveness? Seems to me that those things might be necessary if we ever hope to restart this economy and turn the tables on wealth inequality. Especially for those going into the medical profession. After this pandemic we might need it to rebuild our health care system.

Like we understand most western democracies do these sort of things for its citizens, right?

and to be clear, I think this is a tough issue, I see both sides, and tend to side with the religious organizations In their right to not cover birth control.
