I don't think that was ever in the cards. My Best Buy sources tell me he was really upset the way things ended here the first time and was further upset with Elijah's treatment here. I know both actions were by different GMs but the stink is hard to get off the organization at times. My pipe dream was that Millsap would have been agreeable to coming in as a deep bench piece and replace Brantley. He may be doing that in Brooklyn. I’ll have to look at their depth chart.
I wanted this also. Though I'm also willing to sign Exum for cheap simply because I can call him Stan Darsh every time he messes up.My pipe dream was that Millsap would have been agreeable to coming in as a deep bench piece and replace Brantley. I'd take Exum back. I know people said he shouldn't come back but I don't see him getting any other offers in the league. Let him come back without pressure.I wanted this also. Though I'm also willing to sign Exum for cheap simply because I can call him Stan Darsh every time he messes up.
Good GAWD.... That's @infection 's music!!!!!!
Dunn gonna get bought out... we gonna get him for the minimum...
I would also say that this is the type of situation where there may not be a lot of incentive from either side to buy out.I hope we do but I would guess someone else snatches him up. Maybe not. We'll see.
He will get released... they have 19 guaranteed deals and have to trim to 15 by training camp. This deal is basically them saving $500k in salary and getting some very minor draft capital... they were going to release Hernangomez. If Dunn new he had a minimum offer he may take a slight haircut on a buyout to get a deal done now. He also may just wait for the release and get all his money and take his chances at getting a minimum deal later. Either way... he becomes available for a small deal in the future.I would also say that this is the type of situation where there may not be a lot of incentive from either side to buy out.
Definitely disagree with you on this one.I think he would have been better for us than Gay.
Good to hear. Any other teams that may be interested in him or have more minutes available? Also slightly concerned, even though we had an awesome off-season, that we've still got some lingering DL "good enough" comfort. He will get released... they have 19 guaranteed deals and have to trim to 15 by training camp.
