2022 Annual Jazzfanz All Time NBA Draft

I like this:
-keeps the tradition of how we normally do this alive while
-giving an opportunity for less voter bias by giving some power to the sim if the vote isn't resoundingly clear
Idk man. Like with a simulation 2k will know every players abilities more than people on JazzFanz.

That especially is true to people who don't know specific players from the 70s, 80s, 90s. The voting "who wins what matchups" is going to slow things down.

I can run an 82 game season, no injuries selected, every bodies suggested lineups, minutes distributed and we'll get far more accurate results. Voting can become a little fixed, like a boxing match. Lol.

I know what you mean, that's why I'm suggesting both. Voting keeps people engaged, makes for good discussions, and provides a qualitative analysis that I think simulations would struggle with.

How about this:
-Sim determines seeding (who was it that was suggesting something besides 2k?)
-head-to-head competition is determined by vote if a team can win 60% or more of the votes
-if neither team collects a 60% majority, then it is determined by sim

I’m fine with this. Also, we could name a sim champ and vote champ.

I may also live-sim some games so people can see their team on the court, in action, and post videos of those games. Like the playoffs, for instance. I'd probably go live for the last 3-4 minutes of a game so people can watch their teams in action.

I'm kind of thinking of the sim as kind of a game 7 situation. So maybe running it like that if it comes down to it would be fun.

How about for the playoffs we open up threads for each team that's going at each other, and take voting/open discussion. Voting wouldn't really determine everything, but it would get people talking. We can run each series 24 hours once polls start up.

For the season I'll sim to All Star Break on the first sim, and see if anybody wants to make trades after getting an analysis of their team after the first half of the season.

I wish we could get our own sub forum on here so we can post everything strictly related to the draft/sim league.

If this is how we're doing it, could we get it added to the OP?
