Yup, and of course this is just a lawyer's statement, but interesting that it frames it as the Jeep pulling up on Brandon's car in a suspicious way.

it is just his lawyers statement and the lawyer is obviously biased, but the key statements are the final two paragraphs which are not in dispute - it's all on video and Miller has obviously been questioned and interviewed multiple times by police, they have seen the video, and yet zero charges. bottom line, Miller brought a guy his own gun when he asked him to bring it him. the fact that gun was used to kill a person is tragic and looks horrible in hindsight, but it's not his fault.

Also boring because watching him with that boring *** Kentucky team offends my senses.

Hopefully there is nothing more to it and there is nothing he can be charged for later. I hope he learned a huge lesson about effing around with this type of stuff but maybe more importantly about the company he keeps.

I don't think he's just a dumb naive kid here... I also don't think he some gang banger... if he learned from his lesson great. If he learned he can participate in stuff like this and he is like teflon then it can get way worse when that person gets paid.
 
When I was 16 I had just gotten out of my job bussing tables and I gave one of my coworkers a ride because he owed me money and he said he would get it to me if I gave him a ride.

Then somehow that ride turned into me picking up two of his druggie friends and they shot up I have no idea what in the back of my minivan while I drove them to his house.

Sometimes you just get thrown into weird *** situations. As you get older you hopefully learn not to put yourself into positions where **** can go down, but sometimes it just happens. A lot of it is just limiting your circle to only your close friends, and not allowing friends of friends or people who really have no future to be around you. This is harder than it sounds for college aged kids because they will have friends in both groups, and will have to learn that the latter group will only bring you down in the long run.

Yeah, but let's say it's after midnight, and your friend who has been drinking all night says, "Come over and bring me my gun." Do you really just hand him his piece and not say anything or ask any questions? Anyone with a couple braincells might say, "Yeah, your gun is still in my car. Are you saying you need it for something? What's going on?" It's hard to say that Miller was just an innocent bystander with no clue that something bad might be happening.

Besides, weren't they speaking in some kind of made up code? If Miller were really cross examined on this, a good lawyer might be able to portray that Miller knew his friend Darius Miles was in an argument or confrontation of some kind and wanted his gun so he could possibly use it. In other words, a lawyer might be able to prove some level of foreknowledge.

It sounds like it's pretty shutdown of Miller being charged with anything.

If Miller thought he was going there to provide a murder weapon, he'd probably would not have his dashcam on recording everything.
