2023 NBA Draft Megathread

New mind-blowing take:

Ryan Rupert is the rich man's Anthony Black. He has NBA starter ball handling and passing. His shooting is improving but if you are handling the ball you have gravity.. I would target him as a PG for the Jazz within the realm of realistic draft possibilities

Better defense than black. Better ball handling. Better passing. Way better shooter.

Ryan said he was shoe horned to play 3 and D but his natural tendency is point guard.

If this is true I think I like him better than Cason and Black. He might be a sleeper.

Man, I hadn't seen any mention of keyonte george in this thread in so long I forgot he existed before KqWIN post. Where is he being mocked?

@Handlogten's Heros
@Saint Cy of JFC
@Ferguson_Mellochill

Let’s say we end up with the 9th pick, what do you want us to do? Curious who each of your guys is. Take someone at 9? Go up and get someone and if so, who and why?

It depends on who is available at 9. Maybe Ausar or Walker gets there. Otherwise, I like GG and Dick at 9.

I'd then package 16 and 28 to move up to 13 or 14 to grab George, Bufkin or Bilal, whichever the Jazz like most.

I seriously had a dream a couple of nights ago that he went nr. 1. Needless to say, my dreams generally don’t come true.
That would be awesome if it came true though.

I watched some highlights of Rupert. There were a bunch where he drove to the basket. The defense collapsed and he kept finding the open man. He also split and passed through nicely double teams. There is something unique and good there. Man..he would have been a great pairing with Donovan.

I think we got a Markannen effect going on with Rupert. His coach should have been using him as the point guard. He's been misused.
