Anyone that thinks such complexity should be (or can be) reduced to such simplicity is not one to be listened to.so what do you draft by? (i think you missed the point my post)
Bilal had maybe his most productive game at the senior level. 14/4/5 on 6/11 shooting with and a really nice block. He was playing as the backup PG today which was interesting to watch. The other team tried pressuring him full court with the smaller guards and he looked comfortable for the most part except for a surprise trap that almost got him. Overall it was nice to see him on the ball more. It was a good stat line but definitely had some high/low moments. There were a few moments that showed how raw he was. I think his feel in the PnR is pretty good but he needs more reps. One thing that will stick out if you watch him every possession is that he's always pointing to the open man on offense and next rotation on offense. He's very engaged even if he's not a featured player. Really helps him out as a cutter and in defensive rotation. He was 2/4 from 3 today, but his shot is low and I think it's extra slowybecause he does not want to take them lol.
Defensively he was pretty good again. Just envelops these smaller guards in the French league. When the other team challenges him on defense it usually does not go well for them.
This is going to sound like damning with faint praise to some, but he is kind of Exum-ish as a prospect. But he's a much bigger (true wing size and maybe even 4 sized if he gains weight) and has a stronger mental game. Exum would probably win in a 100m dash, but when it comes to vertical athleticism and footwork Bilal has him beat by a lot. Bilal is also more physical and engaged at all times. If you put 18 year old Exum in the French League I don't think he would fair as well for the reasons mentioned, but from a rawness standpoint.....yeah you'll see a lot of those moments that will make you think of Exum. Bilal is lacking a ton of experience. Can't expect an 18 year old to have a ton of high level experience, but it definitely shows.
Dear Danny, please finagle your picks to get Ausur, GG, and Bilal. I want to see the reaction from the Jazzfanz board and the typical 99.5% rest of the fans will love it.
Just throwing this out there....
Drafting for height is just as dumb/dumber than drafting for positional need. Has anybody watched the Toronto Raptors?
You need guys that can dribble, pass, and shoot the ball, regardless of their height.

I only steal good ideas. Thievery is the highest form of flattery...or so they say.
Pass. Hendricks >Made 100% in the video... The form does look a little better.
Little quicker too. It used to look like he needed a couple of seconds to set everything in motion to get a shot off. Release looks a little low still, but so does Steph’s to be honest and it doesn’t seem to hold him back.Made 100% in the video... The form does look a little better.
I don’t buy open shooting in a gym by yourself… mechanics look better but part of the slow shot is likely making the decision between shoot, drive, pass stuff. I think he eventually shoots well enough on catch and shoot shots but the pull-up may always be rough.Little quicker too. Agreed. Possibly a confidence issue too. Doesn’t come natural to quickly step into the 3 when you have little confidence of making it. And then the whole thing spirals down. Good to see him working with a top shooting coach though.I don’t buy open shooting in a gym by yourself… mechanics look better but part of the slow shot is likely making the decision between shoot, drive, pass stuff. His form breaks down due to confidence and dribbling. The shot just looks clunky/stiff, and when you add in his hesitancy to shoot, it results in the form getting ugly.Made 100% in the video... The form does look a little better.
