2023 NBA Free Agency Thread

Sexton is better than both of them so it is pointless to trade for them without getting a 1st back. I would much rather just role with Sexton though. I think he puts up 18pts, 6asts and 3 rbs a game as a starter this year on great percentages and is the perfect age for our current timeline.
Brother if they are trying to trade him for Grayson Allen, Pat C, and a far out first; he isn't in their starting plans

I'm not a big fan. I would much rather keep Sexton than make that trade.

I'd be okay with either, but I think the Jazz are thin on players who can play the point, so I'm not sure it would be wise to trade Clarkson for a shooting guard.

Edit: I mean Sexton.

Connaughton would be a great fit for the Jazz.

Not so much a fan of Allen and would rather ship him off

I'm glad we had Sexton do all of the Jazz's PR stuff this off-season to trade him away before the season started (not).

Gonna need a Bucks 1st for Sexton. Pat is significantly falling off, Grayson is whatever. Need a real building block.
That “NBA Insider” is a clown. Milwaukee’s 2028 1st is not tradable due to the Stepien Rule (they could swap). They could trade their ‘29 or ‘30 1st. They also have very few 2nds: Portland’s ‘24, their own ‘27, and their own ‘30 pick.

Not a lot of meat on the bone as far as assets to build with from them. If it’s two seconds and a swap from Milwaukee (or a super swap in ‘27 or ‘29), I could maybe do that.
