Alright then, I'll let you go.
I’m hitting the hay. Have a good rest of your night man no hard feelings. Deep down you know I’m right though.
Alright then, I'll let you go.
Why do you act like such a petulant child if someone suggest someone you don't like might get drafted ?Yeah, if only Franz, Poole, THJ, Robinson, LeVert, etc. weren’t all in the league, sure. Good one Cy. You’re a genius.
Once Wembanayma joins Rudy Gobert as an All NBA-level player, that French league will have a better track record for producing All NBA talent per on a per-draftee basis than the NCAA and P5. That's like 20% of NBA prospects from France making All NBA. Maybe more if we go back and include Tony Parker.
It's a logical fallacy to say that players from the French A league are more likely to bust than the average NBA player drafted at their draft position, and then site a sample of 6 or 8 players in the last 10 years. That just isn't a basis for evaluating players.
Check my post history. I've been saying for months now that Doncic has been Ainge's priority all along. There's footage of Ainge talking and laughing with Luka during warm-ups prior to the All Star game. Luka conveys his discontent and drops rumors he may request out. Ainge seeks out every deal possible to acquire draft assets and cap space.
Ainge knows what it takes to win a championship. He wants his top five player and only OKC can make a better offer, and they've already got Shai at the point.
Things can change, but as of right now, everything is lining up for Luka to be a Jazzman - and Ainge will still have enough picks left over to shape the rest of the roster around him, Lauri and Kessler.
The NCAA has churned out a bunch of all time busts. Every league in every country try will churn out busts. Evaluate players not what league they were in.I mean that’s one school in a league… we are talking about a league that has churned out some significant busts… maybe Bilal is different but you can’t ignore the track record.
Not a very important one. It’s hard to get a true evaluation without considering who they are playing against… it’s a completely relevant data point to consider.
To be honest though, that's a delusion I'll ride till the wheels fall off on my way to the looney bin.You are delusional, sir.
What if I told you there was a league that was churning out all stars left and right… and there was a prospect who looked similar to these all stars available to be drafted… are you factoring that into your evaluation? Not a very important one.
They aren't considering it the way it has been stated here. What if I told you there was a league that was churning out all stars left and right… and there was a prospect who looked similar to these all stars available to be drafted… are you factoring that into your evaluation?
Look to all the Bilal lovers… you have to consider everything… and I promise you every team that is evaluating him is considering the fact he could be the next Frankie smokes or sekou… it’s gross negligence if they aren’t. Doesn’t mean he can’t buck the trend… but I promise you smart GMs are considering the trend in their evaluation of the prospect.
Is basketball an individual sport? If you want to evaluate a player, you need to evaluate him individually. Whether someone else from the league was a bust isn't relevant.
