This French league thing is kinda strange to me. French players were good and then they weren’t. Does that not show that one generation of players has no impact on the next? These players are all individuals and have their own development. This should be obvious, Wemby is coming from the French league lol.

What you can do is try to put numbers/production into context. That’s fair game to me, but when it comes to Bilal….I don’t really think anyone is intrigued by him because he was averaging 5/3/1 lol. Maybe some of the GG teflon folks have tried to make every negative a positive thing with Bilal…but I don’t feel like Bilal’s case as a prospect hinges on his production. His production is very low, there’s a reason why I say he’s Exum-ish.

If Bilal’s lack of production is what scares you off, I don’t really blame you. To each their own…but understand that his statistical production isn’t really the appeal for him.

It's a logical fallacy to say that players from the French A league are more likely to bust than the average NBA player drafted at their draft position, and then site a sample of 6 or 8 players in the last 10 years. That just isn't a basis for evaluating players.

What if I told you there was a league that was churning out all stars left and right… and there was a prospect who looked similar to these all stars available to be drafted… are you factoring that into your evaluation?

Look to all the Bilal lovers… you have to consider everything… and I promise you every team that is evaluating him is considering the fact he could be the next Frankie smokes or sekou… it’s gross negligence if they aren’t. Doesn’t mean he can’t buck the trend… but I promise you smart GMs are considering the trend in their evaluation of the prospect.

I heard something like under the new CBA teams have to spend 90% of the cap.

Assuming JC isn't resigned, everyone returns, and all 3 picks are used, how much would the Jazz have to spend to get to 90%?
