It actually works fairly well. We can easily waive Mills and Svi to make room for the two extra players.

I'm just not excited about a pick swap with Denver. It feels like we are going to be bad for awhile and they have Jokic, who limits their floor for awhile.

The supporting cast around Jokic is pretty bad this year and they are still a playoff team. I don't see a team with Jokic being worse than like 18th. I think Jokic is going to be good for at least another 5 years.

So yeah, if we're being very specific and it's a 2031 swap, that looks good I guess. Any earlier and I'm guessing it doesn't do much for us.

Sportrac has them with $5M until the second apron, so they only need to send about $9M out. I think any salary+Nnaji keeps them under second apron.

So it looks like Saric does need to be a part of this deal because they can’t take over 100%. But it could be Saric+Holmes+Zeke.

I think I want more than Holmes to take on all that **** salary.

Without taking Saric back the only other combos that work are Nnaji/Holmes/Strawther and Nnaji/Holmes/Watson.

Saric/Holmes/Zeke and depends on the year for the swap. I kinda don’t want to waive Svi tho. If it’s a swap with our own pick then that’s kinda rough until like 2029. There’s a chance Jokic says eff it imma go work on my horses but he also may play for like 7-8 more years and the “I don’t even like basketball that much” stuff is kind of an act.
