As long as you drafted one of everything it doesn’t matter do trades or whatever you want as long as every era was drafted at least once.

“First five drafted player” is ambiguous. Is the 5 players DRAFTED BY YOU or the first 5 players DRAFTED who are currently on your roster?

By you. In other words, you can trade out of the eras restriction once you've drafted appropriately.

This can all be cleaned up by locking the first 5 picks (which I tend to favor because it preserves the whole point of the exercise; creating any kind of basis of comparison between people that prefer modern basketball to those that prefer classic basketball) but I understand changing some of the details when we run back the same basic idea.

Once you’ve picked all era’s then do what you want with trades and what not.
