2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

I really like his game. Another guy to keep an eye on is Judah Mintz. If he can consistently hit the outside shot then he could blow up.
I remember Mintz had a rumored 7' wingspan then he measured as 6'3 at the combine and everyone stopped caring about him.

Expecting a big year from Kugel.

All these early highlights are against small schools, but I love the physicality on some of his drives here.

The jump stop starting at 2:17 was filthy

This is going to come off as crazy but I keep watching those highlights and he is giving me serious Dwayne Wade vibes. He looks so much bigger and stronger than last year which makes him deadly with his handle and first step.

I just hate narrow shoulder players.

I don't think he's got narrow shoulders necessarily, and he's built pretty solidly. He's also obviously athletic--he plays with relentless pace and blows by guys even in the half court. He's also 18 and could fill out. I wouldn't worry about that. He'll probably measure out at least 6'5" and 200 lbs.

Actually, I think he has a somewhat long neck, and that's throwing you off.

Id be surprised if he is 6'4 without shoes

Just one game, but pretty concerning stuff w/ that Edwards game, like the drive at 2:18 in transition. Takes off with two feet way too far out and gets stuffed,

honestly with that type of video where it shows all plays, you could say that about just about any OAD. freshman do stupid things and make stupid plays as sure as grass is green.

Sure, but that's just basic instinct stuff. If you have to take off like that in the NBA in transition you arent finishing much.

jakobe walter came back down to earth today in a blowout win for baylor. still very much bullish on him (of course), but rough game against an overmatched opponent.

This 6'6" Serbian guard Topic looks like he could be elite. He's just 18. I think he has be considered ahead of Proctor and possibly Castle as well. I'd also consider him a more well-rounded prospect than Josh Giddey was, given his ability to push by defenders, make deep shots and make plays at full speed with either hand.

Topic had been my guy.

Is Ron Holland good or nah… might actually watch a g league game when they play the stars next week. Would he take the 2 guard of the future or SF of the future now that Key is pgotf and Ochai is 9th man of the future?

He is very good and I believe he’d be the SG next to Key.
