One of the first national boards to have Devin Carter over Dillingham.
I don't think I've seen this video on JazzFanz yet. It's an interview with a guy from HoopsHype and talks about the Jazz's summer with brief thoughts on trading a star, trade for a star, draft, not wanting to be stuck in the middle. Not the most detailed, but it is something in a time where we want more news on our team.

I had very little interest in him, and this confirms that for me.
I'm not uninterested, but I think 10 will probably be too high for me, but I'd understand the swing on the athletic upside.

Locke's pod today was about Castle and Carter, my two favorite prospects in this draft. He doesn't do either of them justice, but it's still worth a listen.
I'm still intrigued by his defense, size, and athleticism; but I think i had him too high on my wish list before. 10 sounds about right to me, but I had him around 5 before.
I still have Holland very high. Best physical tools at the top of the draft....great role player potential with physical tools + mentality. Shooting does suck, but that is also true for many of the top prospects and I find him to be the most compelling "if he can shoot" prospect.

If you are trying to win now next year you could try and trade back with Portland, #10 for #14, #34, and #38.
Use #14 for Carter. Trade #31 and #38 for a pick in the 20's and take Da Silva. Use 29 on Jaylen Tyson. Then pick McCullar with 34.
There are a ton of guys that are ready to contribute right away from this draft. If the upside from the younger guys isn't as high as you would like, then maybe it makes sense just to focus on guys you know can play.

None of those guys might be available at those slots, but at least for now they are being mocked in those ranges.
The main point is that focusing on NBA ready prospect could be a good strategy for this draft.
Or on the Jazz drafting four rookies

It's not going to happen, it's just an interesting idea.
Spurs getting Castle at 4 is my nightmare fuel.
Makes sense now Castle’s team is angling to get him in San Antonio.
And who knows, could also be smoke so Washington/Houston pass on guys like Sheppard/Dillingham/Topic.
