so Holland scored the most points, equal rebounds, more assists and more stocks and was the most efficient relative to one of the best rookies from last year and a guy who looks like a future star and another potential top 10 pick. i'm as convinced as ever the jazz should not pass on him at 10
I am really starting to like Devin Carter a lot. He’s very rapidly moving up on my personal big board.
I think Memphis might take him and trade Marcus Smartm (if they can't get Clingan).
If I were Topic, I would have strongly considered withdrawing from this draft. He could come back next year 19 y.o., healthy and having proven himself at a higher level.

He could also look like **** and not be a first rounder ever again. I know you're old enough to remember what happened to Roko
I don't think he drops out of the lottery though. With next year's draft being more top heavy I think he probably made the right decision. Go to a team that will be patient with him this year while making more money.

there is also the possibility he just isn't that good and staying longer exposes him.
Roko was a late 1st-round talent. Topic should be a high lottery guy. Obviously the decision depends on the feedback his camp is getting.
He's good and he knows it. He should bet on himself.

but he didn't bet on himself in spite of the fact that he seems to be free falling. that might tell you something about his self confidence.
