2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

Givony was low on Castle throughout the year, this may be why:

[Givony] went to UConn games 2 hours early to watch Stephon Castle (projected #4 pick) warm up, trying to film 3 or 4 consecutive makes to post on instagram, and how it took 30-40 minutes to even get 2 consecutive makes from Castle — "this is alarming"

The G-League Ignite prospects likely end up as my undoing as an armchair draft analyst for this draft.

It's difficult to evaluate guys that are playing full game garbage time minutes every game. It's also hard to like guys who allowed games to get out of hand so frequently.
It would be hilarious if college ball saw a resurgence because the G League makes it so hard to evaluate prospects.

FWIW, right now I see Tidjane Salaun as primarily an energy big who plays mostly at the 4, with some spot minutes at the 5. He has the potential to be more than this and can develop his game offensively in different ways. However, his floor is probably a player in the mold of a Precious Achiuwa. His key areas of development are shooting and scoring on more than open drives and dump-offs. He needs to become A LOT more refined off the dribble to open up his offensive game.

I could see him come in and replace much of what John Collins has been giving us, which is mostly good (I think).
