It's just a point of comparison as they are nearly identical in size. There's a misconception about Filipowski's athletic ability.
There's got to be a good meter difference between those two shots, though (first video, not being logged onto Twitter that's all I can see). But I'm really hopeful Filipowski can bring some KO magic back, because that was _fun_.

Absolute ceiling wise, I do agree with @Ferguson_Mellochill with the Horford comparison. I think Lauri is a completely different kind of player/athlete.

I think he will be a KO level playmaker but just in different ways. I don't think he is as crafty/weird as KO. His playmaking is more conventional. He's going to use his ability to get downhill as a ball handler and grab&go type player.
And yes, a lot of that is going to hinge on his ability to shoot, but he's a tall white guy who is known to shoot, people are going to close out on him. He was a very good open C&S player at Duke this past year.
