The team ahead of us in the standings that is most likely to overtake us is Milwaukee. They have only won 3 games without Giannis all year and with NOP being so terrible they actually have a huge benefit of losing games. There is already national NBA talk about how they should shut Giannis down for the rest of the season.

The Jazz currently have won 3 less games than them, so if they maintain their win percentage without Giannis for the rest of the year they will only win 8 more games which means we can only win 10 more games to stay ahead of them.

Here’s praying Giannis and the Bucks are both totally irrational for just a little bit longer and he comes back before inevitably traded this offseason.

This is good for the team but is so bad for the league that the NBA should probably blackball Danny Ainge from the sport.

They were terrible, but not tragic without him. I think so long as the FO doesn't put the thumb on the scale that Rivers will make enough chicken salad to keep them above us... but they are a threat. Rivers is only good at one thing... coaching shorthanded teams lol.

That seems high, I would take the under.

I'm not 100% sure Lauri plays 16 more games this season.

I think we have 13 more games that we probably lose whether or not Keyonte and Lauri play or not. So that would probably be my answer for how many times we see Lauri and Keyonte play together this year.

Ideally we only win 3 games this month, but we need to hope for 4 wins at the most. By my count we have about 9 winnable games this month, which means we need to lose more than half of those and not win any of the unlikely wins.

Not going to be easy with making sure Lauri continues to have a chance at the All Star game.

So far so good. The Lauri illness was extremely well timed.

It's going to be tough to not win at least one of our next two though...

I'm going to the Pacers game tonight. Hopefully I can spur them on to a victory. I'll also be going next week when the Jazz come to town. I'll be outwardly cheering for the Jazz, but inwardly hoping for a Pacers win.
