It was a “dream scenario” last year too..Listening to Ainge on the radio and he said this was their "dream scenario".
The rumor was that his "team" wanted Washington, New Orleans, or Brooklyn. Washington has cleaned up a little, but all three are historically sub-par organizations and have meant very little on the overall NBA landscape.Wasn't it Washington?
The only player that intrigues me that late in the draft would be Dink Pate based on mock drafts. If he is there at 53 then he is well worth a look. It'll be interesting to see what we do with pick #53.
I'm annoyed we will be missing out on #31 - that 2027 Lakers 1st had better be good!!!
Robert Williams III.Can you tell me who timelord is and the context of the nickname?
Made me laugh to read it
I think it was Bodhi that was saying this would be the wildest draft ever or something like that. Pretty boring. Was kind of shocked there wasnt more players traded during the draft.
Lol that is awesomeRobert Williams III.
He was drafted by the Celtics and overslept his own introductory press conference call and also missed his flight to Boston the same day. Twitter gave him that nickname, and it stuck.
Haha It was. I thought there would be a lot of players moved. We had a ton of trades, just for picks though.I think it was Bodhi that was saying this would be the wildest draft ever or something like that. Pretty boring.
It’s interesting that there’s not more trades for players leading up to the draft. I’m assuming that some of these guys (Sexton, Collins, Clarkson - maybe Lauri) will get evaluated like you would a free agent and are traded for that purpose. If Collins and Sexton were Unrestricted right now AND teams had actual money to spend, I think they’d do well. I expect the Jazz to be pretty busy between now and the start of the season.Haha It was.
