2025 Playoffs Chat & Chill Thread

Miami lost 10 games in a row just last month and now they look semi competitive against the best team in the East. What happened?
 
Jaime Jaquez Jr went from being THE example of being slept on to DNPCDs. His shooting just fell off a cliff midway through his rookie year.

I hope he has a good off season and has a great 3rd year because I really like him.
 
It's going to be so interesting to see what HOU does this off season. They need a high level offensive option and lucky for them I think quite a few will be on the market this summer. They might pull off the infamous "consolidation trade" that never happens.
 
Kerr decided to empty his bench, guess he wants to send a message lol.

Out of all the shooters in the first round from the 2023 (there was a lot of them) draft Brice was by far the best shooter of the bunch.

Not saying we’d be Cleveland or MIN, but it’s still pretty crazy to me that we just quit on that talent. And we didn’t just quit on them when we traded them, but also the years before that when we sat on our hands and did nothing to improve around them. All of these teams firing coaches and GM’s like crazy, but we got rid of the superstar players.

Mitchell and Gobert are/were amazing talents and we just gave up. We’ll be lucky to have one talent of that caliber in the next 5 years.

In the worst reality Mitchell is a pending free agent next summer while Gobert trade value is less than half of what we got when we traded him. KqWIN from that reality is swearing why "DA didnt do the obvious and trade them earlier".

Mitchell is thriving in the wafer thin East.

Gobert is aging and is hardly the real reason Minny has any chance in progressing.
