Minnesota looks like a bonafide championship contender today. OKC just hasn't matched their energy.
NiceHolding out hope the Wolves can turn it around at home.
CrumbleSo Rudy distinctly was staying up higher and not dropping as far on SGAs pick n roll. Looks to have made him way more uncomfortable seeing Rudy closer as he came off the screen. Be interesting to see what OKC do with that next game
A big that has to rely on a floater to be relevant to scoring is kind of a liability.Though Hartenstein cant shoot, he isn't a liability on offense. He is amazing with his floater. I think he is different than players like gobert and robinson fwiw.
So is Kessler…A big that has to rely on a floater to be relevant to scoring is kind of a liability.
Ok. Less of a liability.A big that has to rely on a floater to be relevant to scoring is kind of a liability.
He’s also a pretty good rebounder and finisher. Hes got some bounce. And with Chet, it’s not like he’s messing up their spacing. Gobert and Mitchell Robinson right now are far greater liabilities.Ok. Less of a liability.
Lol. Hartenstein has by far the worst net rating of those 3 despite his team having far superior rating. He’s also a pretty good rebounder and finisher. Hes got some bounce. I don’t think that proves what you think it does. A lot of factors go into +- . Robinson and Gobert are also better rebounders and defenders. The opponents they’ve played are different. OKC just escaped a grueling 7 game series with arguably the 2nd best team In the playoffs (likely the only team in the playoffs that made the Thunder sweat). So what are we arguing? Are we arguing that Harkenstein has a better offensive game than Robinson or Gobert? Because I think the answer is clearly yes and he’s less of an offensive liability than Gobert and Robinson who have zero range outside of a dunk/tip in. Although, their dunk/tip in ability might improve their overall +- especially against crap teams (lakers for example).Lol. For instance Robinson is +8.6 in a team thats -0.4 while Hartenstein is +5.4 in a team thats +10.6.
No you are arguing that Robinson is a worse offensive liability based on your pedestrian common sense logic revolving around their scoring skills, yet Robinsons personal offensive rating is BETTER than both his teams or Hartensteins.I don’t think that proves what you think it does. Also for the full season he is less of a negative than Hartenstein in on/off, despite often subbing with KAT who is a great offensive player.
Have you ever paustd to wonder why coaches try to drive him off the court? You think his mediocre rim protection or slow feet defensively have something to do with it?
I can give you a hint: R____________.
