2nd round thoughts

Trevor Booker is going to be a great player coming off the bench for some team think Dejuan Blair.
Dexter Pittman the Jazz like em big and not much bigger then him. I agree he could lose soem weight and be a solid bench player
Da'Sean Butler i would roll the dice that he is going to come back from he knee injury it is only a second round pick and i like this guy a lot.
Ryan Richards who doesnt like unknown 7' british guys. all i can say is that i have heard good things agains swing for the fences
Brian Zoubek and if that is his girl freind even better. I agree he brings a nastiness
Luke Harangody short but the guy can score.
John Sheyer reminds me of a Jeff hornecek type of player
Derrick Caracter why not take a gamble on guy that was once considered a lotto pick coming out of high school. He has character issues (no pun intended) but the past year he seems to have kept his image clean
Elijah Millsap Think of Paul in as a wing
Darrington Hobson High enegry player that the Jazz like

Being completely serious (i.e. not Ogilvy), in going around the internet I've read serious arguments for the following guys that I think are sort of convincing:

Grievis Vasquez: Good size for a ball-handler, can run the pick-and-roll, good ball handler. On the down-side, athletically he's what you associate with the Jazz.

Luke Harangody: I think the real lesson of Paul Millsap is that if a guy proves he has a particular skill for years he probably isn't going to lose that skill the minute he gets to the pros. Harangody's track record is good enough that he clearly merits a second-round flyer if he's available.

Marqus Blakely: Poor height, but huge wingspan (7'1") and a very good athlete despite his size. Might have a future as a defensive specialist in the league given his strong jumping ability, good speed laterally, and strong block and steal numbers.

Sylven Landesberg: Productive, pretty good shooting percentages for a potential second rounder, potential character problems.

The cool thing about Landesberg is that he could get an Israeli passport and spend a year or two at Maccabi Tel Aviv for some seasoning.

Mac Hopson of Idaho. He played at WSU on the team that made a fairly deep run in the NCAAs. The Idaho team didn't have a lot of talent and he made them competititve. He could be a Wes Matthews kind of guy. The guy plays the point.

Or Omar Samhann of St. Mary's 6'10" 260 who average 20 and 10 this past year.

Some projected 2nd rounder from Serbia blew off all his scheduled workouts and scouts are pissed. Hilarious! Way to go kid!
