A brush with destiny -- Celtics at Jazz 3/28/2018 7:30 pm MST

This is a great game for the Jazz to learn from. The Celtics put athletes on the floor and it was clear which of our guys could deal with it and which couldn't. Jerebko was almost useless. Ingles had some struggles in the 2nd half. Crowder didn't get much done.
I thought Atlanta was the game that was supposed to wake up the Jazz. Why the **** doesn't Quin have the Jazz run shooters off the 3PT line? Quin got completely outcoached by Stevens.

between 01/19 and 03/16 Opp. FG% 42.6% ; Opp. 3P% 31.9%
since 03/16 (6 games) Opp. FG% 45.0% ; Opp. 3P% 46.8%
This makes a HUGE difference. Especially with their own struggles shooting the ball lately. It feels like the whole team is tired from trying to drag themselves back up the standings. Might be smart to get guys some rest if they can.

Oh please.

How about playing guys who were on and had energy. Favors. Exum. **** even ONeal. We dont always have to take a million 3s.

Rubio offered ****ing nothing and Joe was back to turning down open looks.
Exum played well in that stretch while the game was still loose. In the final minutes where everything comes to a screeching halt and the Celtics go to a zone, I struggle to believe Exum is a better option than Rubio.

Utah shot 27% on 3s to Boston's 57%, and we still almost won the game.

Bad shooting really killed us tonight, but I have to agree with the comments about playing Favors more. Crowder getting more minutes than Favors every game just doesn't seem very smart.

Yeah. I think that stretch made the whole team tighten up a little bit and they seemed to struggle getting good shots off. Like they were expecting to miss. Celtics get it close and took the momentum.

Every time they have a chance to pull away in the standings, they lay an egg. This team wasn’t built to make the playoffs this year, but have overachieved. Hopefully next year they aggressively fill some holes on the offensive side. Need guys who can knock down shots.

There was a stretch in the 3rd quarter where Ojeleye scored 7 points in a few possession span that was crucial to the comeback too. That really got the C's feeling confident their bench was going nuts.

rubio kind of shut down in the final possession. He like froze in the paint, if you have the stomach to revisit that final ****, check it out. wtf was he on?

Favors probably should have played more, but I'm guessing Quin had PTSD from the 2nd quarter where the Jazz went cold.

What the f happened? I checked the score, the Jazz up by 4 with less than 2 minutes to go then I checked it again 5 minutes later and the Jazz lost by 3? Did they decide not to compete all of the sudden? Sheesh.. major loss of the season, damn.
