A Place for Conservatives

Lol, we all are. Every last one of us. The triggers just change from person to person.

nah.

just having the willingness to chatter is not the same thing as being triggered.

not liking what others say may tempt you to diss them as materialists with no intrinsic value as humans, and it might seem to the societal managerial class to need to be pointedly otherized..... but actually liking to have people to talk to doesn't need to be a problem....

If you don’t think you have triggers you’re lying to yourself. We all have them.

My my...…. such a serious charge.

What should society do to punish triggery people?

no, I did not say I am not one with fav topics I'm willing to pop off on. I'm just not willing to give up the positive things that come with caring about something, and I care to point out the mistake of making it a negative. Particularly in a place that ostensibly welcomes discussions.

Imo the progressive.... mainly left but also the so-called moderates..... ideology is going off the rails to make it out as an intolerable offense to differ ideologically.

your snap judgment about me lying to myself is really uncalled-for, so what. You are essentially arguing that everyone is "lying to themselves" in some aspect of their self-image. You could make that a positive just as conveniently, and call it "having good self-esteem" or somesuch.

But go look back on what I said, and realize you jumped the gun. I did not say I or anyone else is not "triggered" by one thing or another.

The word is used in a pejorative way nowadays, what with guns being "bad" and whatnot. It can be bad to go off with a lot of hostility, sure. But what concerns me more is the culture of intolerance from the "progressive" quarter, who are everything except the classical sort of "liberal" who is willing to be tolerant of others.

No, we all have triggers. To imply, or outright say you, or anyone else doesn't is a lie.

Take that however you want.

Im a simple man. With simple meaning. There is no hidden agenda or course of action

**** the progressives and **** the conservatives.

Obviously his trigger is implying he has triggers.

He's so meta.

Stoked and fire girl are easily triggered. They might be the easiest tbh

If you think you have done anything to date to trigger me you're dense as ****.

But rock on with you bad *** self. Damn the man. Save the empire.

It’s easy, and emotional less, to type **** you on a chat board.

Why is that people think they are the only one to throw some Letter on keyboard with no real emotional involvement?

Some of the founding greats of JFC are triggered by anyone who can spell "Constitution", let alone think it's important.

The foul-mouthed insulters are less evil than the clever intellectual insulters. You and Fish seem like normal folks with more interest in enjoying life than changing the world to fit an agenda.

Log is just dedicated to keeping stuff rolling along smoothly.

I will call it "mission accomplished" when the whole JFC joins my new world order schema, which is to replace the CFR with a simple sort of John Locke and James Madison practical program to extend the rights of man.... not just the Bill of Rights.... but actual representative governance that follows the will of the people rather than leads/programs it.
