I understand this thread itself is political, but what you and I have been discussing hasn’t been about politics. And yes Dala, I have right wing views. Respectfully, I don’t think I’m a total idiot, but I suppose I am biased. I’ve also never posted a video on YouTube, so I can’t imagine that our discussion would be my first.

Now, just a little lesson before I leave, k? When calling, or asking for respect, and decency, it helps if you’re doing the same. If you want people to be respectful to you, in order to have a decent discussion, you have to do the same...and you haven’t done that to people here in a long time. You’re very bright, but you’ve become incredibly arrogant and demeaning towards those who don’t agree with you. I’m not the first person to mention it, so don’t think this is coming just because we don’t agree. I just want to point out your hypocrisy.

When I first joined this forum I was very impressed with Dal. He was willing to listen to dissenting opinions, have a reasonable conversation, and even change his mind. That sure has changed. If I learned that someone took over his account around the time he got into med school it sure would explain a lot.

Look at this thread and the tone of contributions between his and mine. His were immediately inaccurate and disrespectful, repeatedly. If you’re missing this, it’s because you’re choosing to (and it’s convenient to, seeing as you share his views more than mine).

I 100% have never told you that I refuse to engage you, and it’s because (despite wildly disagreeing) you possess some level of decorum that he doesn’t. If you refuse to engage with this critique and instead insist that I’m the one at fault here, then it’s reflective of the intellectual honesty you claim to possess

I decided to go back to the first page of the tread to see if I agreed with this. I made it to Tip's and Dal's first comments that said.

Funny. This is just gonna push people to vote for Trump, tbh.

The whole abolish capitalism and private ownership thing will sound good to a few fringe people, but the majority will hate it. Vocal minority will love it though.

With that said, cool story of how she got elected. Don’t agree with her viewpoints at all, but good for her. Plus I just don’t think she’s the least bit dangerous. People on the far left or far right typically work out better for the opposing party come election time.

Both parents farmed for generations, grandfather had a farm until he passed away, I've probably participated in 3-4 harvests thus far in my life (organic ones). Farmers by and large don't give a ****.

I’d say that’s pretty accurate for 3 years time in me saying that Dala said he had the same or similar perspective to me in regards to farming. But yeah, immediately inaccurate. Disrespectful? Yes, I was disrespectful to somebody who is consistently an arrogant, disrespectful, prick. I apologize.

I think the biggest difference between his posts and yours in this thread is that he seems to have real-world experience to back up what he is saying and you do not. Despite that you seem certain that you know more than him.

Again, you’re not being intellectually honest with this, and I don’t care if you do. Any honest person reading these pages can get the appropriate take-away, and have no problem understanding that me equivocating a few years of farming experience is *not as disrespectful* as using dehumanizing misogynistic language towards another poster. If you can’t wrap your mind around that false equivalency, then there’s no point in you engaging the content of my posts any further.
