I'm a very big fan of drafts with many teams, thus forcing the contestants to have a truly strong knowledge of the subject. The deeper we go, the more interesting it gets. That's just me though.

Hack Wilson would be going number 1 if this were the case. If you want to do this straight up then you have to list guys you can't draft due to roiding or a very high suspicion of roiding. For instance, Sammy Sosa from 1998 to 2002 was absolutely ridiculous. His OPS in in that time frame is 1.047. Or for that matter Barry Bonds.... Don't even get me started on that roider. He has a career 1.051 OPS. Roiders need to be excluded or else we will have the roider draft.

Then don't do the draft. We don't know for sure who did them and who didn't. Don't get me wrong. I'm a guilty until proven innocent type of guy because I have common sense and can look at the ridiculous jump in home runs for certain players and draw the conclusion that steroids were the only reason for that jump though the manufacturing of the ball could also be a key reason. But at the end of the day, we don't know everyone who did or didn't. I'd say Bonds, Sosa, McGwire, Palmeiro, and Clemens are the automatics but so what, we'll draft people and all draw our own conclusions about the final rosters.
 
Those are automatically 4 names that should be taken out of the draft. As well as ARoid, Gagne, etc etc. Known roiders should be ineligible. Suspected roiders are a different story.

I'm not taking them out so I guess you'll have to pass on the draft.
