Im glad you found the time between studying your midterms to type out 4 or 5 sentences and then copy and paste walls of texts from other sources.
Also I am happy you managed to find two whole verses that you finally were able to enjoy from the Qur'an.
So does the moon reflect light (noor) or is it made of light? Does Allah reflect light (using the same word as for the moon - noor) our is he made of light. Seems the muslims use translational inaccuracies every bit as much as the Christians when trying to explain incongruous passages of scripture.
Noor means borrowed light.
Allah used light that eventually turned into matter using equation E=MC^2 which eventually made us all. It was borrowed in the sense that it is no longer light and it is now you and me.
The moon borrows light from the sun and reflects sunlight at us. It borrows the suns light.
The bible says that the world is flat, grasshoppers have 4 leggs, Adam and Eve were created in heaven etc.
The Qur'an says the earth is egg shaped, Adam and Eve were created on earth in stages using material from this earthern clay.
In the Qur'an Noah's arc took place locally for one town and the surrounding area while in the Bible it was the whole world which has not happened.
There are four hour lectures about Islam and Science. The only thing Bible has going for it is that it says circle of earth and that it is held up on "nothing" (Later it says earth is flat, so don't give me bs saying circle of earth means sphere) The hands on nothing is impressive since space is pretty much nothing.
The Qur'an is simply an identical version of the Bible without the problem of poor translation and over 5,300 original Greek manuscripts saying different things almost all if it in error.
Dalamon...I'm confused. When you told me to pay attention to the tolerance thing, were you trying to point out that I was being intolerant? If so, I apologize as that was never what I was trying to do. I may not agree with what you believe in, but I respect you and your beliefs. If I offended you, I apologize.
Well, Christian means Christ-follower. So following Christ is what it means to be a Christian. Just believing that He is the Son of God does not mean you are a Christian. Rough paraphrase of what it says in the Bible, "Even the demons believe."
I may be wrong on this, so I will accept any criticism on this....but Muhammad is the chief prophet of the Islamic religion. Muhammad committed many, many acts of murder and such. Now there are different types of Islam just like there are different denominations of Christianity such as, Baptist, Pentecostal, Non-Denominational, Presbyterian. I could be completely off though, I studied the Islamic religion a long time ago and I'm probably a little rusty on their beliefs and history.
.
Where does it say these things in the Bible?
Leviticus 11:20-23
Unless you say there are some insects with four leggs that are now extinct....
The flat earth reference was in an 2 hour video that I will have to fish through to find.
Genesis 2:8 something about creating man and then planting him in a garden afterwards.

I apologize I guess I was misinformed on this one or I just can't find it. Hey man I think the Bible is the word of god just like Christians. Even Christians state that the Bible in today's form is not the same bible that was originally released. The only difference is that I believe Muhammad (PBUH) released the Qur'an which fixed some of the things in the Bible that were wrong or poorly expressed(For example google search "Dead Sea Scrolls").
