You know though, as much as people talk about big markets vs. small markets, the truth is that there are only two "big markets" that attract players the best: New York and LA, with an honorable mention going to Chicago.
The following markets are not small, but they don't often win the battle to attract blue-chip FAs: Atlanta, San Francisco Bay Area, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Houston, Dallas, Boston, etc.
I bet if Miami's Big Three had the option to team up in NYC instead of Miami they would have.
