Don’t worry... we aren’t even trying... we got the #1 seed wrapped. Remember projection models and strength of schedule etc. Got the league right where we want em... Joe needs 38 minutes a night so when playoffs come 32 feels like light work. What a **** sandwich. Glad he got all that run versus the Wolves.
We drop to 3 and push Clips to #1 making a second round battle for LA... all part of the plan.****, that sucks. I hope we don't fall behind the Clippers. The way it shapes out we would play one of the LA teams anyway in the second round. As long as we have HC against them it's ok. I just hope we manage to give Joe and Rudy some rest. Maybe we should just drop those games when we are without Conley and Donovan instead of forcing Ingles to play heavy minutes and lose anyway?
I'd push to try and win tonight but the Phoenix game is basically gonna be impossible to win without both Don and Mike. We in a pickle now... the timber pups really ****ed up our program. We dodged the injury bug for so much of the season I guess it was bound to happen. What let's not do is force Mitchell back too fast and aggravate his ankle injury.
At this point I'd rather just ride with the bench than push Joe to his limits.
That was our doing.the timber pups really ****ed up our program.
They helped.That was our doing.
If you think MIN is physical..... wait until you see what our second-round opponent does to us.MIN was very physical, heck in the post game you could see Conley's lip had been hit pretty good.
This is more just me thinking out loud and not stating an opinion ... you can almost say the Jazz' TO's are the cause for the injury issues right now. When Mitchell got hurt I think it was off a Conley TO, which puts a heavier load on Ingles and Conley and in the past couple games Ingles has been pretty bad with his shooting and TO's (more the first MIN game) which in turn puts a further burden on the already bigger burden on those 2.
If all the easy dunks and 3's off the Jazz TO's wasn't driving home the message to value the basketball maybe showing how these mistakes are now leading to injuries will.
Insert any of the top western conference teams... Clips, Lakers, Phoenix... I still don't understand the difference between being physical and being called for a foul but these teams seem to get away with murder and most of our guys play with their hands tied behind their backs. If you think MIN is physical..... wait until you see what our second-round opponent does to us.
That gon be teh Clippers, btw.
