    Cos I wasn't.

When I realised, some of them were too old & got deleted. And I missed out on a lot of encouraging words from many posters.

    It was a real shame.

Doesn't everyone by default automatically get a notification at the top of the screen whenever someone leaves a rep comment?

I guess they would - but if you get a PM from someone and a Rep comment notification at the same time, doesn't the notification automatically disappear if you click on the PM?

Also they'd still have to put 2 and 2 together though and try to understand for themselves that these Rep Comments lead to Rep Level and then Rep Power. I've had new comers asking me where to go and find Rep comments and yeah we all know you click 'settings' and scroll down, but not everyone knows this. Also how is Rep Power calculated? Do new comers know that it's dependant upon the Rep Power of the person who Rep'd you? Shouldn't the formula be explained as well? Didn't Joe Bagadonuts just ask about the difference between Rep Power and Rep Level yesterday?

I dunno... doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me. I've used a few other forums that have similar sorts of Rep functions, and I don't recall ever seeing a written out explanation. People just figured things out on their own.

Maybe, they should be taught about the love circles first.

I've not discovered any sort of rep system on tapatalk. As far as I know, there's no repping, liking, or viewing of rep from it.

Edit: just discovered how to like a post. Maybe there's a way to rep?

Yeah, I *just* saw that too. Not sure it's the same like as the one on the site though which is ... whack! (I'm a 90s child)

So, are new posters made aware of how creepy hotkkk is? I feel like this should be the first notification they get.

Not sure how the mods, Jason or users feel about this and perhaps this has previously been brought up by others but I think the rep system is okay the way it is but would change it so that each Like received was +1 in rep level. Likes should only help a little (hence, +1) when someone likes something. Pos rep should help a lot when someone loves a post. Or something.

I believe they are independent mods. I don't think you can have likes impact rep at all.
