The bigger picture exists. Wins and loses exist beyond tomorrow or this season. The amount you care about a win tomorrow, this season, next season, or beyond is up to you. You may not care about the big picture, but to say it doesn’t exist is like saying the 2026 doesn’t exist. We know the next year exists and the year after that.

What is the best thing for the big picture is up to opinion. Tanking works is an arm chair gm opinion about the big picture. If you truly did not care about the future that’s fine, but why would you have such strong opinions about the future then?
