I love seeing this guy jump for rebounds. He fights for 'em, which Paul and Al don't really... do.

Al Horford was drafted #3. Kevin Love was drafted #5, but then traded for #3 (OJ Mayo). I think Kanter is up to par for a #3 pick. If Kanter can play solid inside, it will allow Favors to roam on both ends of the court and funk things up. The analysts were saying Faried was going to be the best rebounder in this draft class. I'm not so sure about that. It could be Kanter.

He would? I think this is a total misconception. Sloan was a tough-nosed player. The Jazz teams were good defensively when he had guys like Malone, Eaton and Stockton. But Sloan never took a team of weak or average defenders and made them significantly better. Offensively, yes, Sloan's system made average players good and turned good players into all-stars. But I have never been impresssed with Jerry's defensive strategy/schemes.

He can try all his wants, but his size doesn't help. Really wasn't a fighter on the boards either-- not like Kanter at least. Utah was one of the worst rebounding teams in 2010/11. Kanter's presence can only help.

Yeah, Aybars. Don't you know that since you pointed out that Kanter improved since his first game that means you were implying that his statistical output would double every two years all the way out to infinity? Way to see right through him, Verlin. And as for that crack he made about your shoe size, it's at least double your IQ so don't worry, nobody else around this place is going to mistake one number for the other.

first of all,,that was your logic,not mine.all i said he improved very much in 5 games,than u did your genius first-grader calculation.second,why are you bringing my race to your comments all the time? do you have a problem with turks?this is the second time you are making comments about my nationalty.is this some sort of ,where ever the hell u are coming from, BURN ?
