Not blocking out. It works every time it is tried and is so simple that even I can do it. If you are paid to play basketball there is no excuse for not blocking out.

Bulls/San Antonio/Lakers/Miami/Golden State/Lakers again fans.

Nerfing the ability to play defense in the NBA.

Catch ball near sideline, take gigantic step backwards, step out of bounds.

Turnovers right after timeouts.

Not running the play that's called.

Missing a dunk or worse - a lay-up

Couple that drive me crazy in both nba basketball and pickup basketball...

Taking one meaningless dribble when the ball is moving around and you are gaining an advantage. Either drive or pass but the dribble to the side and pause does nothing.

Not using the pick when it’s set. You better be able to beat your guy on a straight line drive or you just took your partner out of the play. It’s fine as a counter say 1 out of 10 times but it’s not like a 50/50 strategy.

Going 2 for 1 with 26secs left on the clock. What it actually is 1 bad/hurried shot for 1 opposition shot.

Cylinder rule is *****. Everything after basket hit the rim should be legal.

Restricted area. If it's a charge, it should be a charge everywhere. It has come to a point where even verticality doesn't matter. if the guy is in restricted area, it's a foul.
