Speaking of beards, they really do add "epicness" to anyone's appearance.

For example, here is one Jim Morrison his senior year of HS. Looking for all the world like he couldn't rock out to save his life.

A few years later, he's got the locks but he's still clean shaven. Sure, you could buy that he's in a rock band now, but there's still a little bit of an underwear model feel to his look. You couldn't tell whether he plays in the Monkees or a real band.

Finally, the year of his death. Here he's got the real grizzled, Old Testamen prophet, maven of rock and roll look. No teeny-bopper following when you look like this. This is a look of a man who's lived, loved, lost, and has wisdom beyond his years. All hail the mighty power of the beard.

This much is sure, Butch reminds me of those "family values" type republicans that rail against the gays for this and that and then are found to be gay themselves. There are two, overly macho guys here on this board who I think are clear cut closet cases of feet lightness. Butch is one of them.
