Best Big Al trade

KOC won't make a bad deal for him anyway, he loves him. So, an actual Big Al trade would be the best one among all these hypothetical trades.

Al Jefferson, Bell and Earl Watson, for Deron S&T with the Nets. Problems solved. Then turn and flip Harris to Chicago for Korver. I would even consider giving NJ GS's pick if we don't get it this year.

Deron - Tinsley
Hayward - Burks - Korver
Hayward - Korver - Howard (or some other low priced vet)
Millsap - Kanter - Evans
Favors - Kanter - Some other D-League/low priced vet

Throw in Blake Ahearn and I'm sure The Nets will be all over this!

BTW, there is no NBA team in NJ.

I couldn't possibly see Jefferson going anywhere except to a bottom tier team desparate for offense.

New Orleans, Charlotte, Toronto, Cleveland - maybe Detroit.

What established playoff team has the time and inclination to try to work a player like Al into their set offense?

What about Big Al, Harris and future 2013 draft pick (top 5 protected) for Stuckey, Ben Gordon and their 2012 pick? We could probably land Austin Rivers with their pick or trade with the GSW pick and maybe move up to 4 and get Gilchrist. The Pistons get Big Al to team up with Monroe and a veteran PG in Harris to help Knight better transition into the NBA plus they get a future draft pick.

We get Stuckey and we could amnesty Gordon or keep him as he could be valuable off the bench since he can help spread the floor. While this isn't the most ideal trade as Stuckey is more of a combo guard than PG, both teams benefit from it. We get rid of Big Al and get an upgrade at PG

PG: Stuckey/Tinsley
SG: Hayward/Burks/Ben Gordon
SF: Gilchrist/Hayward/Caroll
PF: Millsap/Favors/Evans
C: Favors/Kanter

Our outside shooting is so woeful with that starting lineup I want to cry.

We could always sign one or two shooters if we get rid of Bell and don't resign Miles. Plus both Stuckey and Hayward aren't terrible shooters, they are just inconsistent at times and when they are inconsistent, you sub in some shooters..

Not to mention, we could always move Sap and Stuckey for a nice PG

Stuckey has shot over 30% from deep once in his career. He is that bad a shooting, at least from distance.
Gilchrist is probably going to be just as bad at deep shooting, but he probably will barely attempt any also.
