Best shows on TV?

Currently watching my way thru Wellington Paranormal, the other spin-off from the original What We Do In the Shadows movie. You can definitely tell by the writing that Jemaine Clement was greatly involved - it's very Flight of the Conchords dialogue at some points.

excellent series, like good acid.

I'm pretty excited for the Man Who Fell To Earth. Chiwetel Ejiofor, Bill Nighy (as the character Bowie originated in the original movie and then Michael C Hall continued in the Broadway musical), Jimmi Simpson, Kate Mulgrew... And every episode has a David Bowie song for its title.

I watched Foundation on Apple TV. I read the books as a teenager so I had some interest, especially in how they'd make that story TV worthy. I read the books long enough ago that I didn't remember very many specific details but my impression is that the show isn't much like the books.

I enjoyed it but I'm not sure it's for everyone.

I also watched Severance also on Apple TV (my wife just signed up for Apple TV or something) and it was good. I was worried that it was going to be like "Lost" and just weave one new mysterious web after another with no real direction or payoff. I'm not completely sure that's not what's going to happen but it has been entertaining anyway.

Only 1 episode in, but the new Kids In The Hall is fantastic. Everything you wanted from them, plus swearing and full frontal old man nudity! No, I'm not kidding.

Bad reviews.

TV is so mediocre right now. Like pretty bad.
I think we have just passed a golden age, and there's going to be a bit of a comedown for a few years. Still some good stuff, but then there's everything that is just trying to copy the good stuff. Like, Ozark was really good, but it was obviously trying to be Breaking Bad with better scenery. They even cast an actor who is mostly known for comedy as the lead.

We're saving this for when my sister comes into town since in the early 90s the three of us were pretty avid KITH fans. My wife is really really looking forward to watching this.
