Totally changed my tune on this. The Night Of is absolutely great television though I wish MKW wasn't cast. HBO's overused him.

Who is mkw?
I really enjoy BattleBots. Teams build various non-humanoid robots and then they use an NCAA tournament style seeding system and fight 1 on 1 in a steel cage. Single elimination. Some have huge claw arms, some shoot fire, some have fast spinning sharp blades, some fly, etc. The announcers are way over the top with cheese, but I always laugh.

Yep, I'm into Battlebots as well. I fast forward most of the announcer stuff, though. Just watch the intro to the robots/teams, then fast forward to the battle.
And of course I watched the original back in the 90's.
I saw enough of their ****ty commercials during the playoffs.

It's based off an Aussie movie which was awesome. TBH, I thought the commericals looked very good but it's TNT and I questioned how legit they could make it since the flick was brutally violent, so for that reason, I haven't watched it.
